Hello I'm Nikki, a Wedding and Portrait photographer in York.
My ambition is to make your photography fun and relaxed, to capture all the emotion with style; ensuring you get photographs you will treasure.

Here's about a bit about my background...

I've loved photography since I was a little girl! I loved taking photos of anything and everything! Still do! After finishing my school & college years I worked behind the scenes of photography printing laboratories whilst building my portfolio. I worked with a few photographers in the York area during this time as an assistant gaining experience in various fields.

I decided to travel and see the world and worked as a cruise ship photographer for two years. A fantastic experience all round. We did weddings, portraits, candid and commercial photography.

Now with 10 years experience Nikki Pix was born in 2005.

From celebrations, portraits and restoring old images to designing you're holiday photo albums! Capturing all the emotions and excitement of a wedding day, snapping the personality and beauty of someone special in a portrait.

I enjoy it all!

I strive to improve and challenge myself all the time and continually produce images that will bring high quality photographs and albums. I love the post-production aspect just as much as the camera work, designing photo books or producing that stunning photo gift.

I work with my client's, I listen and don't dictate, working to their wishes, budget, taste and needs.
